Position Title: Solicitor Associate – Business & Real Estate Law
Location: Abbotsford, BC
Employment Type: Full-Time | In-Office
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)

Overview:

A growing law firm in the Fraser Valley region is seeking a skilled and motivated lawyer to join its solicitor team. The successful candidate will bring experience in business law and real estate law, with the opportunity to contribute to a commercial lending practice. This position offers long-term career growth, including the potential for partnership.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and services in business and real estate law matters

• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents for commercial and property transactions

• Support and contribute to commercial lending projects

• Build and maintain client relationships with a focus on timely and practical service

• Work collaboratively within a team-based environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of solicitor-side legal experience in business and/or real estate law

• Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia

• Strong judgment, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to professional growth

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
