Abbotsford Portrait + Wedding Photographer I’ve always been a sentimental person and I’ve always loved looking back at old journal entries and photographs. Anything that helps bring me back into that moment, to remember how I felt and who I was with. My love of photography started with disposable cameras and I loved those exciting moments of opening the packages of prints. This dream came into reality when a friend of mine asked me to photograph her wedding. 2013 was the start to this beautiful journey and I honestly feel so lucky to be in love with my job.
I understand the pressure of wedding planning. There are so many details, the lists are endless, and deciding on who to choose to capture all those details and memories for years to come sounds stressful and intimidating! That’s why I believe choosing the right photographer for your day should be a simple, easy procedure. One of my couples asked me, “What does it feel like when someone chooses to hire you for their day?” I do a happy dance (in my head of course ?), I feel SO honored! I feel like a part of your family! Every couple and wedding day are different and I love being able to capture the best day of your life surrounded by your loved ones!
With 40+ weddings under my belt (or should I say camera strap), and having worked with multiple photographers as a second shooter and an assistant, I am well organized and well informed in how a wedding should flow. Not only am I the photographer for your special day, but I am also a stray hair fixer, dress fluffer, tie straightener, bouquet holder, and much more! I am filled with emotions so there is a good chance I will cry during your vows, and laugh during the best man’s speech.
